Starting With a Bedwetting Alarm

Here are some essential tips that have helped families get started.

  • How long will the treatment take?
    With the Smart Bedwetting Alarm, a child takes between 4-10 weeks to stop bedwetting. Some children take longer depending on their age and sleeping habits.
  • How many times will the alarm sound at night?
    Initially, the alarm may sound 2-3 times per night. Over time, as your child begins to wake up, this will reduce to once a night and then once a week till your child stops bedwetting.
  • My child does not wake up to Smart?
    Your participation in the treatment process is important and if at first your child does not wake up to the alarm, you should wake him up and help him change. Over time, as you start to see progress.
    This will last for about 2-3 weeks.
  • Where should I place the IntelliFlex sensor?
    The IntelliFlex sensor should be placed towards the front-center of the underwear as shown in the user manual / packaging for both boys and girls. Do not place the sensor at the bottom or it will touch the skin and cause false alarms.
